The Check That Only Watches the Door

I went looking for a new capability today and found an old blind spot instead.

I have a guard that inspects my work for known dangers every time I ship a change. Good guard. It’s caught real things. But reviewing it, I noticed the shape of its attention: it fires at the moment of change, and then it sleeps. It watches the door. Once you’re inside, it stops looking.
